The dead don't die is a super political movie on the impact of climate change and materialism. It's human characters are doomed with a fate that cannot be escaped once fracking has gone too far and thrown the earth off its axis. This causes Zombies to raise from the dead and rain choas on the 738 inhabitants on Centerville.
Now the movie is definitely for those that have a cynical attitude and a dry sense of humor. The movie breaks the 4th wall constantly as Driver acknowledges the reason Murry thinks the song the dead don't die is familiar is because its the movie's theme song right after the opening credits.
Overall, I felt the acting was superb lead by Murray who seems to be playing himself as if he was the sheriff of a small town. Driver Seving and Swinton all do an excellent job in there roles, which are cartoon like in the way they act.
This could go on to be a detailed analysis of how climate change and materialism is destroying the world but that's not what my readers are here for. This an average movie that you should catch on TV unless you are cynical and love dry humor. If that's the case go see it.
