About the blog lord

How did this all start, well that's a simple story. I went to a restaurant, that shall remain nameless with a good yelp review and ordered some brisket. Tasted it thought nope that's not right. Next thing I did was google best brisket and figured out what city to visit. Kanas City was were I ended up going, mainly because I have a friend there so off I go.

While in KC I made a joke about video blogging it. There the idea to start the premiere bbq blog of South Jeresy was born. 

Of course there is not enough South Jersey bbq places to fill the blog with endless content and I don't want to disappoint readers by taking months off, other than for a broken laptop so I turned this into a general lifestyle blog. 

So why movies, well this great thing called movie pass happened which led to A-list with AMC so I got hooked to seeing 2 or 3 a week and figured since I take in so much content I need to balance the creative equilibrium and put some out as well.

An about me wouldn't be complete without some more personal interest, right. Born and raised in South Jeresy, I have always been a fantastic eater with a preference towards barbecue and sweets. I am an avid Sixers fan who got why to caught up with trusting the process that the philosophy of optionality was influencing my life. Of course I love the Phillies and Eagles as well, i just don't have thier former gm's resignation letter committed to memory.

When I am not running through personal noves for the Sixers, or at the movies, I probably trying to play a new board game or trying to figure out a new gimmick for my fantasy football league.

My goal is to provide some entertainment as well as keeping people from experiencing bad barbecue with raising the profile of the very good places. If I pick up a show on the cooking, or travel channel along the way, that's an add bonus.
