cheesesteak tour The first annual

All your details for the 1st Annual Cheesesteak tour of Philly brought to you by working on the Sponsorship for next year. So starting at 10 am at the Original Tony Luke's. Go here for the general map of the trip.

The first part is the Oregon ave and Johns Roast pork stops. The first leg can be found here:

The next leg of the tour is the tourist traps and the south street places: Geno's Pats, Shanks, Woodrows, Ish, would have been Jim's but it's closes for renovation. Check the map here;

The final part is the places that are a bit more spread out. This way the food has a bit more time to digest near the end. Map

My plan is we go to each place on the list order 2 cheesesteaks cut it up in pieces and sample each place. I have plenty of cash so don't worry about hitting an atm unless you want to get a full one for yourself. I also have some water in my car but will also stop at wawa to pick up some iced teas so if you want something let me know I'll pick it up.

So the way I see it there are several goals of the day. 1 have a good time while trying a bunch of different cheesesteaks; 2 make sure I get a great blog post or several post out it, yes you are going to have to fill out a survey; 3 try to be done by 8:30 to catch the sixers bucks game. Actually its a road game so that's iffy.

The best way I see it and I am open to other people suggestions or flexibility based on people schedule is for me to drive the first part. Than we walk the 2nd leg, when that is done take the broad street line back to the car and than drive the third leg of the trip. Instead of everyone hopping on the train, this could be a great time to take a break do some day drinking before getting on with the rest of the cheesesteak tour. It's an option and something we can talk about.

Again if you have to leave early or join late we can work that in based on what everyone's time restrictions are.

Now what you have to do besides showing up, you have provide some data.

Please rate each cheesesteak based on some basic thing. Appearance, roll, amount of cheese, flavor. Super easy.

People in cherry hill if you are all going on the morning park I can pick you up or meet us at Tony Lukes.

Doug I am assuming you will meet us there and drive since you are leaving early. Tell you grandma happy birthday!

Also take pictures so I can put them on more put together blog pieces later on.

See everyone on Saturday, maybe next year there will be a sponsor to rent a bus for the trip.
Maybe by then I'll understand how to actually make a blog post look interesting and not be completely dependent on my comedy skills to get views.
